Got a question. When making sure things like cytotoxic and radiopharmaceuticals need to be packed, stored and transported safely for patients. I know that radiopharmaceuticals need to be packed in lead lined caskets and probably will need to display the relevant hazard warnings.
Cytotoxics will need these warnings as well but I am unsure how to properly pack and transport them.
Is the usual method of when I get them from AAH or Alliance, wrapped in a plastic bag with their delivery guy. Is this the proper way to do this?
I know that I have probably answered my own question but I wanted to be sure!!!!!!
