    I watched a programme today about Damian Hurst's pharmacy art work.

    It looked just like a pharmacy, with basically empty drug boxes in glass cabinets and a counter.

    In the middle of this "room" were four stools that we usually use in the pharmacy to reach things high up. They had on them plates of honey, to attract flies. Above these stools was an electronic fly killer. So the flies were attracted to the honey, and met their death on the fly killer.

    This was because "we don't deal with death, even in the pharmacy".

    When asked how this can be considered art, his reply was "it's art because it's in an art gallery"

    Is it me, or has he pickled one too many a cow.............
