At the moment opportunities everywhere, if too many people like you come here then opportunities will diminish.

check other threads to find out ppl's opinions about community/hospital.
hospital is more clinical based, ppl seem to enjoy it more, but it's up to you.
for me, i am up for community only

Is that your opinion johnep or that of your local BNP member?
The health service in this country survives because 'people like' veensp come to work here, get jobs and pay taxes like everyone else.

This illustrates the advantage women with partners/husbands have over us mere males. They have the luxury of being subsidised by their partner and is one of the reasons why feminisation leads to lower pay.

Just pointing out that law of supply and demand rules. 100 jobs and 101 pharmacists, then unemployment. 100 jobs and 99 pharmacists, then situation as now.

Flight of professionals from some countries causes misery for locals. At least we don't shoot those who come to help us.

                  Scotland for the Scots?--Hooray!
                  Wales for the Welsh?--Hooray!
                  Ireland for the Irish?---Hooray!
                  etc etc

                  England for the English?---Bloody racialists!

Ah well, my ancestors invaded across the channel in 1066. we are all immigrants really.

hmm, someones true colours are coming through, to say the least, all people are people, just like you and me, and if you f*** with people, they will f*** right back with you, if you stab someone in the back one day and go back the second to pull it out, why would you be surprised if they dont accept you with open arms. Taking out the knife would cause as much pain as when the knife first went in, so they are bound to kick you and scream at you.

As a side note, the funniest thing happening at the moment is the american presidential campaign, Barak Obama is being portrayed and is believed to be a muslim terrorist by his opponents, WHY??? because his first name rhymes with iraq, his last name sounds a bit like osama and his middle name is Hussein, this in 21st centuary developed society of the western world.

I remember once watching a documentary about people who think the same as johnep , the program producers traced their family history, and it turned out they were more foreign than they thought. One person they asked believed your family had to go back x generations for you to be accepted as indigenous english, turned out he himself didnt fit that criteria, so I can confidentaly say that if johnep searches the family tree it will become apparent that your ancestors came "here" closer to present and alot later than 1066 than you think, just because your white doesnt mean anything.

and to Jen Da 3rd's question, if you are white then you dont count, but if your asian, black or coloured than you'd count as a immigrant for another ten generations atleast, so good luck.

                          relax guys
john did not say anything wrong/racist/offensive! i totally understand him when he find his country is being taken over by non british, like myself
i would have the same feeling if i was in his situation, but let's face it there is nothing he can do.
as i mentioned it before, if the british society is efficiently productive to produce highly skilled professionals to satisfy the need of the society, there would be no need for foreign p'cists. so the only thing he can do about it is to encourage his grandsons to become p'cists to change the future
simply blame YOUR SOCIETY for not producing enough PROFESSIONALS to satisfy the market's need.

solly, chill! last time i checked you were british??? not anymore? your tone scares me

the hypocrisy of the western world is much better than the idiocy of undeveloped world. a simple example is equal treatment, freedom of religion, free speech...etc from where i came from, you would not even dream to practice just because you are foreigner, or look different! in a lot of places, the only way to get a job is if you kiss someone's arse! again you would not dream of going through a FAIR process for applying for a job( i doubt they would consider checking your experiences on your CV).
have you been to dubai for example? a professional Asian is employed as a driver because he simply could not practice his professional career there...

simply look at the bright side, and remember how lucky you are to have a health system that looks after you when you are old and can not afford to buy simvastatin!

a general comment, without the foreign p'cists, regions would suffer to get an open pharmacy....... sister/daughter/mom might be living in one of those regions guys visit any place in lincolnshire and see for yourself
                          plus.

90% of the highly skilled immigrants i.e pharmacists for example, should be honored for taking this huge step and providing health services to a British druggy!
foreign p'cists do not inject drug, smoke illegal substances, rob a supermarket, claim benefits..etc that around 15% of the BRITISH youth do!

                          keep the tone appropriate guys

I was just commenting on Johnep's "careful" use of words to say what he wanted to really say. I was born and grew up in this country, I see myelf as british and would go as far as to classify myself as english although i'm not white.

Raoul, I can understand your sympathetic viewpoint towards johneps comments, as you are an immigrant student yourself and can understand why he would feel like that, but I had to grow up with this s&^t, I can see right through comments like that, look at the use of words, first saying "...if too many people like you come here..." which could be easily forgiven as coming across wrong but to then follow it up with a comment like "At least we don't shoot those who come to help us" clearly tells us from what angle this is all being said. How does Iraq/Afganistan relate to a foreign pharmacist coming here to do a conversion course???

about the wester hypocrisy vs undeveloped world idiocity: well, like I said this is where i grew up, this is all I know, So i am not going to accept being treated as a second class citizen just because some people in some far flung place with similar skin colour or creed to me live in worse conditions, thats got nothing to do with me. Raoul, you have the option of going back to your country if you dont think this country suits you, where do I go???
