When this all started, our local surgery decided it was appropriate to refuse to let their patients enter the building if they suspected they may be infected, BUT advised them to come to the pharmacy for advice! It happened on more than one occasion!
The surgeries have shut theirs doors to their patients, pharmacies can not and will not do the same!

It is simply a passive aggressive move, they are scared of being infected so they automatically do what they often do, offload the problem onto the pharmacy! I send them back, if it is not a pharmacy query then they have to deal with it. Maybe they are using us as a FREE TRIAGE SYSTEM!

I note that the DOH is not supplying PPE to pharmacies. Pharmacy is regarded as a contractor and therefore not really part of the NHS. However, no doubt DDs will get PPE for their dispensaries.
