  • Shortage of contraceptives

The BBC is reporting on it's Health page that 'Contraception shortage 'causing utter chaos'. Noriday, Norimin and Synphase are mentioned as well as Sayana Press. Zat so?
I find it difficult to believe 'utter chaos' but I can believe that women are becoming worried.

Are many made in the Peoples Republic? I thought it was India or Easter Europe.

You may find that the API or excipient come from China but the manufacturing is in India.
I remember when a blog was an individual boot.

In the old days, Mexican Yams and Sisal provided the base materials for synthesis. Now I have no idea. I do know that we visited BDH as students, they would not allow men to work in that dept and had tremendous ventilation system. After the steep decline in Volpar sales on introduction of Enavid, the management had pinned their hopes on their own oral contraceptive. They were too late and did not have the sales force as did Squibb and Wyeth.
