  • What’s gone wrong at RPS ?

This is probably why the RPS is falling apart , membership has halved since the split , a rumoured 2000 members left last year , students are not signing up and it’s expected a large multiple is about to stop funding the fees for its staff.

A situation for which Churton brears some responsibility, IMHO, as President at the time of the loss of registration.

Perhaps could merge with the PDA. If society membership not condition of employment then not much benefit to members, or is it?
Must confess my membership fees paid for me until I retired. I then started locums and fee was allowable against tax.

Stayed on with the RPS to give them a chance to 'do something' for the rank and file.
