Don't forget to embellish and make it into CPD

This will probably start a discussion on GF foods, but this is not the intention of this posting.

      Not sure at the moment.
Mostly depends on the overall cost.
GF went from a Tin of Rite-diet bread and a couple of type of biscuits into a grocery store full of variety.
Have dispensed amounts were two assistants had to carry the stuff to the patients car in extreme cases.
Makes you wonder if some where gaming the system.
Used to happen with baby formula - traded in at the local shops for cigarettes etc stuff on the underground economy.

Oh yes, one lady told me that it fed the family and gave her more money for fags and booze.

Not really the same. For a start far less people are taking it and it hasn’t become a ‘lifestyle choice’...yet.

Where I work we give out bucket loads. I do feel that it should be restricted perhaps to breads and flour similar to the GF stuff. Biscuits are not really an item that is needed. More nice to have.

Discrimination here, as a diabetic, why can't I have Sugar Free foods on the NHS for free?
