  • CV anyone?

Is anyone willing to provide me with their cv please. It's not to copy or anything but I am applying to various pharmacies for the summer and I need something to go off. You don't have to attach it here, you can send it via email. If not, can someone at least point me to a decent one over the net please.
    thanks

    Re: CV anyone?

There's normally some pretty good cv templates available for free on the net. Haven't you found anything suitable to use so far?

You can ask you careers center at your school of pharmacy – they can offer a lot of help.
There are some decent CV’s on the net; you just have to look around. Try more reliable sites. I found the links below quite useful:

              Re: CV anyone?

pharmacy cv's aren't any different to a regular cv - the only difference is that you relate your work experience to the pharmacy trade where applicable, and adjust your summary and covering letter appropriately.
Every CV i've written is simply adapted from an existing template of one sort or another. I'm sure most of the others on here do something similar when writing theirs.

                Re: CV anyone?

I didn't use a 'template' for my CV. I simply looked at the sections expected in a CV, such as personal information, objective statements, education, employment, etc etc.

Just make sure your CV is easy to follow as an employer is less likely to read it thoroughly if its hard work to do so. Also, make sure you try and put all extra curricular stuff on there and use positive language - make sure you tell them what you gained from certain activities.

You should be able to easily adapt one of these...

The above link appears only to work with Office 2007. If it doesn't work for you, try this:

As you are applying for a summer job, you won't be providing too much information. Any of the basic templates should suffice..your choice.

                          Re: CV anyone?

Microsoft Works have a few CV's in the template section. Keep it simple and no spelling or grammar mistakes......There are no special "Pharmacy Only" CV's that I know of.
