  • Pharmaceutical care plans

I understand the goal and basics of a pharmaceutical care plan. Is there anything specific I should take note of with regards to cancer chemotherapy patients? Obviously managing side-effects such as nausea and vomiting. Is there any other good references on pharmaceutical care plans which I should check out? I did a google search and think I have found most of the information. Many thanks.

Hi! I would take a look at Medicines in use by Linda Dodds, I think it has section on chemotherapy and at the end of each chapter there is usually a pharmacuetical care plan. It should be available in the library at LSOP. Hope this helps

did you visit the website of the British Oncology Pharmacy Association (BOPA) http://www.bopawebsite.org/

always do a google books research, even if you're allowed to read few pages at a time, at least you'll be introduced to a lot of books: cancer chemotherapy - Google Book Search

      another great resource: http://www.ashpadvantage.com/website...emotherapy.pdf
