Does anyone have any guidelines or evidence on how many domicillary full medication reviews (level 3) would be a reasonable target for one pharmacist in a day, incuding visit preparation, the review at the patient's home, writing up the review plus any further action required??

I've done a few for setting up MDS. We used to allow two hours in total per patient and that included everything.

Some are easy and you can do them in less, some are more difficult and take half a day!

I would say four maximum in a day. Its the writing up and chasing surgery staff and scripts that takes the time. I did do a few on a laptop at the patients home - This speeded it up but you need to be quick on a computer for there to be any cost savings.
