Hello!
I had a lady come into the Pharmacy I work in today. Her daughter is 14mths and has had cold/cough/fever and loose motions. She is not taking any liquids except Dioralyte and is refusing all juices.
The Dr. told mum that the Paracetamol susp. he prescribed could be added to fruit juice - I've never heard of this before: can it be done? The pt's mum also wanted to know if the Paracetamol could be added to the Dioralyte mixture? In the end we (the Pharmacist and I) sold her soluble Disprol, as we did not know the answer.
Thanks
(Aargh typo in the title - sorry!!)
