  • Working in Industry - starting out

    Hi people,
Hope all are well after the xmas period. I was wondering whether I could seek advice from you guys..

I am currently working in hospital, just finishing the clinical diploma, whilst locumming and having worked for an independant in the past. However, what I want is to work in the Industry sector, and I am set on a serious effort to get into this.

I have tried going through certain company websites with no joy. Also looking in jobs sections of PJ and HospPharm, but there does not seem to be much.

I am really at a dead end and wondering whether anyone can help me or give me a direction to look in? As may or may not be the case for many 20somethings, it is not financially faesible for me to do a PhD for 3 years without a full wage (mortgages, house prices etc), so any help or anything really would be gratefully appreciated.

    James

Prepare a CV and circulate to HR managers of industry. Seem to remember article on this in Industry section of PJ recently.

Are there any specialist pharmacy recruitment agencies for industry?
If there are then they may by worth trying.
