Default how to set up a ltd company?

hi guys, i've just recently turned full-time locuming. can anyone explain to me the process of setting up a ltd company and how it works (paying myself minimum wage and then the rest by dividends - by the way what does that mean?!) would i be better off just getting an accountant to do everything? thank u guys!!

Visit Business support, information and advice | Business Link, they have some excellent articles about this topic. I set mine up this way and just had to pay the fees to companies house.
I use an accounts software package to do my accounts.

My friend recently paid £150 for this service from an accountant.
