Well that's why I wanted to check in the forum! :-) I've never been booked directly from an independent, hence I always charged what was already agreed by the agency. And when I said to charge them more that Boots (20£/h), I was thinking something like 22£/h, not something insane.

By my calculations, someone who has trained 5 years to be a Pharmacy Professional, working for 20ph...on standard hours, you will be barely hitting average London income. Giving the living costs, it may be worth relocating.
