    Locuming in hospitals?

Seen various opportunities for working in hospitals across England, but since this will involve working in the wards, how do you start with being suitable for that? A lot of them require you to have previous hospital experience, but I've never worked in a hospital before (bar a few placements in uni), so what options do I have - apart from getting a job in hospital, working for some time, leaving and then locuming there!

This is one example, good idea for a pharmacist with hospital experience who is not happy with the salary. Same job, more travelling to various hospitals but also a much higher salary at the end of it.
