I have done the odd long day like this, usually as a favour for some area manager, but are you really able to concentrate properly for 15 hours? Where is your quality of life working hours like this?

I knew a locum who used to do three 16 hours days. It gave him 4 days off. These working arrangements just work for some.

Agreed, but still need to make sure that you get statutory breaks and are not taken for a ride with the RP rules.

Most definitely, when working at our store he would take three half hour breaks. We would just up the waiting time and say we were really busy (there was no manager present). Being in a supermarket most patients didnt mind.

In the evening it generally gets a bit quieter so its not so bad. After a while you get used to it. Your right doing hours like this I don't go out as much but then again at least all my money's not going down the drain. I'm not gonna work silly hours once I'm married next year but I guess all the extra money does help esp so I can do my charity work for 3 months without worrying about mortgage, car repayments etc.
