    High rate locums?

Just wondering if anyone knows of opportunities where there is a higher rate available in Scotland such as night shifts, or nationwide if its a block booking with accommodation or fees, etc (£30/hr+). Hospital locums have a higher rate, but tend to require someone with 2 years clinical experience, so thats not an option for me. The 22.50 that I'm getting here is not that bad, but considering there is next to no work, I'm making less money than if I was an employee pharmacist.

Why are you working for £22.50? The minimum I work for is £23, and I think I am quite cheap

Also when I worked for Lloyds, in a 14K items/month pharmacy, as a manager I got ~£17 /hour, whilst locums got £25 for doing nothing. Another reason for telling LL where to put their job

Here in Scotland everyone works for £22.50 or thereabouts on weekdays. Either that or no-one will use you.

Firstly, you don't know me, so how would you know I "do very little". I almost always get complemented by the staff for how well I work, and that I am much better than previous locums they have had. Secondly, if you want to bitch about how people get paid more than you, then go and create your own thread somewhere else, this thread was so I could get information on locum work in Scotland, so if you don't have some relevant and useful info then kindly bugger off.

No-one care's about your opinion on that matter, it is completely off-topic with regards to this thread. I am asking for help on this forum, so if you are of no help, gtfo and stop throwing your toys out the pram. Locums get paid up to £50 an hour in some circumstances so if you don't like that, tough!
