Sundays in Sainsbury's - who to ask?

Does Sainsbury's book locums for Sundays centrally or is this a responsibility of a local store/pharmacy manager? I would like to work for them on Sundays. I guess all possible placements are already taken but I would like to try by sending my offer to the relevant person responsible for bookings.

By the way, if anyone is looking for a locum who can cover every Sunday, please contact me by private message. I am in the Norfolk/Suffolk/Cambridgeshire area and can travel up to 80-90 miles each way.

I don't work Sundays, but I do work some evenings in the local Sainsbury's 100-hour pharmacy. There is nearly always someone in the healthcare team who is responsible for booking locums (The Team Leader, I think) and it's worth while finding out their name and talking to him/her. In some areas, they are desperate, so they would probably welcome another contact

Just another thought. They currently use AAH Link as the dispensary system. I used that in my own pharmacy which I sold in 2004, and while it was good then, it is far too out-of-date now. Link itself is upgrading to be a ProScript clone, but I have heard that Sainsbury's have made the decision to go with Pharmacy Manager. They are both good systems, and I marginally prefer Pharmacy Manager, but be prepared to deal with the original Link

Best thing is to go there and talk to the person responsible for bookings. Their computer program now is Pharmacy Manager, which was rolled out (at least in my area) a month or so ago. Also, they are about to change the way bookings are done, all over the internet, but it hasn't been yet brought forward.

Yes, I spoke with their local area manager (not his title, but that's what he does) last week, and he said they're getting a new locum booking system in 6 weeks (i.e. 5 weeks from now) where you go on to the website, choose your branch and fill in any blanks you are willing and able to do. When I get the link, I'll post it here.

I used to work Sundays at Superdrug Grafton Centre Cambridge 12-4pm. As I had a blue badge able to park beside store. Otherwise use Park and Ride or train and bus.
