LOCUM Quality control pharmacist?
Does anyone know if you can locum as a quality control pharmacist? or am i just imagining a non existant career? are there any quality control pharmacists out there that can give an insight into their day to day job? And what further qualifications does a practicing pharmacist need to become a QC pharmacist? And finally how is the renumeration in that field?

Re: LOCUM Quality control pharmacist?
I cannot think of a single instance of an absence in QC being covered by temporary staff. Company would be too afraid of espionage. Always other staff to cover. As for qualifications, see the 'Orange guide'. You would need to be recognised as a 'qualified person'. The 'pharmaceutical scientists' have all these jobs sewn up.
