Looking for locums albeit with limited experience in UK pharmacy
Hi I am looking to do some locums that I can fit around my 9-5 office job. I am based in the West Midlands (Solihull) so anywhere around this region is OK. I can work a full day at the weekends and maybe one late shift during the week. I would need to have a technician/ dispenser in the shop though because I have limited experience in UK community pharmacy (but six years experience in Irish pharmacy). I registered back in January and did a week and a half training in a pharmacy before I was confirmed for my current job with an international pharmaceutical company. Unfortunately I don't have MUR accreditation yet but I am working on gaining it. I am keen to do some locums because I don't want to lose touch totally with community even though my preferred career path is in industry. My current boss and colleagues are also keen for me to support my pharmacist CPD with occasional locums.
Hope the MUR thing isn't too important for out-of-hours locums anyway if anyone looking for cover here please drop me a line

Yes, good idea. I did occasional evening locums and regular Saturday locums during my time in industry. Found them very helpful in keeping me up to date. Used them to do market research as well.
