    Re: Moving to Welsh Wales!

I guess its pretty much the same everywhere then . Spent last week working at a v chaotic pharmacy in devon from tuesday to saturday, by the end of it I had taught myself the computer system, the backlog was cleared, the shelves partially tidied, the stock ordered for owings, and a rather scary number of cd discrepancies pointed out to HO. I am now going to take a well earned week off as I am exhausted! ...Also I have to move house if the letting agency finally decide to let me - has anyone else had trouble with employment references for this sort of thing? As I have only just started locuming I don't have any proof of income as a self-employed person and it is causing all sorts of problems :-S

Bet the pharmacy calls you back once in while to help them get straight!

How about a 'chaotic pharmacy supplement' on locum fees!
Where am I?; In the Pharmacy.
Who are you?; The new Number 2.
Who is number 1?; You are number 6.
    What do you want?;..................

At least 3 people asked me if I wanted a permanent job while I was there... I think the place would probably kill me within 6 months!

The place wouldn't kill you once you go it sorted

References, morguages etc are a PITA when you're a locum, especially if you've got less than a year's accounts, usually ends up as an excuse to take more money off you

We're thinking of moving to Devon/Dorset - if we can sell or beautiful house up north, that is.

What's wrong with where you are?
    ....just my opinion

Nothing wrong with it, but my other half wants to do his teaching qualification at Cardiff Uni and I'm getting a bit bored of being out in the sticks! Also, the company I was working for kept expecting more and more from me (more MURs, managed repeat service, new SOPs every other day, all the usual stuff) but didn't want to pay me any extra so I decided to leave and start locuming instead. The two things have co-incided quite nicely really!
