Hi Igloo,The shop has been open about 12 months,the postcode is YO8 5XD.It is situated in a village store.We are looking for a pharmacist to cover Saturdays,9am to1pm.The average number of scripts on Saturdays is between 20 and 30,some of these are just collections.We are also looking for someone to cover holidays if you are interested especially April17-22,April 24-29 and May 1 to 6,2010.There will also be another 3 weeks in late July to August.We do not open Sundays and i have managed to find someone for the Fridays at the moment.There may in the short term be another day available per week but this is only "up in the air"at the moment,we can offer you the Saturdays now certainly.The rate wll be £25 per hour and 30p per mile travel expenses.The PMR system is Rx.Hope to here from you soon.Elles

£25- 9-6pm
£27- after 6pm

When I saw the rate offered I immediately knew why he was having trouble finding cover. My experience with independents has been the reverse of most on this forum. Ie they try to pay the least they can.

Well only 0900 - 1300.
Difference between offer and rate is only £3 per hour, or £12 for the morning.
Saved more than that by dealing direct instead of through an agency.

Thanks for your reply, the Pharmacy is open 9 to 6,Monday to Friday,9 to 1 on Saturday,we do not close for lunch usually but i take 15minutes for a lunch break.Usually the most i have done in a day is about 90 items.We only have one addict on a Saturday morning on buprenorphine tablets,if you are interested let me know and I will have a word with the owners about your Saturday hourly rate.Thanx,elles
