    Have been several posts on the forum from prescribing pharmacists.Search of the archives should bring them up. Otherwise check out Upstart's and Titch's posts.

    Well at least that is something. There may be some states that have some prescribing rights. But in IN, there are none...yet. So there is not even a choice. But our day is coming --- not an if, but a when. I am glad that you do have a choice. In our class, some may choose to go on into residencies or directly from graduating into retail. That is another choice. I am all for choices. I am fighting for the right to have a choice,

    Apparently, Daktarin is more effective than nystatin.... at least according to CKS.

    usually nystatin is 1st line for oral thrush, then we move onto daktarin oral gel, or even a course of fluconazole

    Completely seperate to the title of this thread lol

    we don't normally keep the daktarin oral gel in an abundant supply in our hospital, so the nystatin it is! contrary to the evidence! oh well, no one has yet complained that the nystatin hasn't worked..yet!
