    Hospital or Community?

Hi all, I'm heading over to England shortly to work as a locum because the locum scene here in Northern Ireland is absolutely ridiculous at the minute (2-3 days per month and thats no exaggeration!) I am particularly interested in working in the North Western area of England, as I have a mate working as a locum in a hospital in Liverpool and he maintains there is loads of community + hospital work in that area. Is this true? Also which is better, Community or Hospital work? I know the pay is slightly better in hospital and the hours are more regular so I am leaning towards hospital at this stage. I have no prior hospital experience, but I don't think this is a problem as my mate hadn't got any experience either before he landed his hospital position.

I dont know - I think you may find it easier to find locum work in the community - there is loads in the south along the coast.
