    i will be doing a few locums for Lloyds, and I would like to know when they pay locums and how can i claim for travel expenses ( i'll be using trains and taxis) and lunch expenses. thanks.

    You have to enter all details(bank account) etc on to the Merlin. They pay via BACS,
    You would have to query with AM re travel expenses. If by car, then 40 miles will be deducted from the gross.

    Don't bother with Lloyds. They don't deserve any cover anyway. Rowlands pay 30p per mile, no deductions. Boots 28p per mile no deductions. Superdrug 30p per mile less 40 per round trip (I only work in local Superdrugs so don't get mileage) Asda 25p per mile less 40 miles (I refuse any bookings with them). Medicx 30p per mile no deductions. I don't know whether I get preferential treatment from the first 2, but I do do their MURs

    That's strange. I get 32p/mile with Lloyds
