If you look at the bottom of the pages you'll see we have site sponsors that offer incentives to join their agency: -

    Pharmacist Managed Recruitment Agency: -
:: Welcome to Locum Connect ::

    Specialist Healthcare Research: -
Opinion Health The specialist healthcare research company

    Quality Medical Staffing: -
    - The Locum Agency

    Pharmacy Recruitment by Pharmacists: -
Pharmacy recruitment, pharmacist jobs, pharmacy referral: IPlace Recruitment, Manchester

Foot-well for physiological footwear amongst other things: -
    Products - Foot-Well Shoes

Chartered Tax Advising and Accountants: -
    shipleys tax

Large multiple chain of pharmacies: -
Home - Lloyds Pharmacy - Online Chemist

Working with new staff is easy IMO, you just do your work and treat them decent. The only locums I know who find difficulty is when they are lazy, nasty or exepct a fortune for nothing in return.

If you've already done a locum why the need to ask this about staff?

There are a lot of threads on this subject already, if you care to have a look around the site.

    Good Luck !

Locumconnect is a really good agency they are based in Lancashire therefore, they will probably find you local work. The average Locum rate around Manchester is between £23-£25/hr weekdays and min. £25/hr Saturday and Sunday.

Its just that i locumed in a v busy pharmacy it was the first time i was working for the company.it was extremely busy and i found the attitudes of the support staff very hostile.we had a lot of cds and the rx were being signed off in approx 20 mins which i feel is reasonable as i was being interuppted from incoming scripts to dispense methadone rx.just wondering is this normal?

Always prepare methadone scripts first thing in the morning.

Always make sure you introduce yourself to each staff member personally, smile as much as you can, never appear stressed (even if you are) as it is infectious to the staff--always appear calm. Oh, and take cakes.

Lots of pharmacies keep prepared methadones in a basket in a corner of the pharmacy as no room in CD cupd, come Oct 1st, you will be able to drop them in it.
