Default Lunch hour

As I understand, if a store does not shut for lunch, a lunch hour cannot be forced upon me. If I sit somewhere outside the dispensary to eat my sandwich, I am still contactable therefore still working. In a small claims court, should a locum claim for their lunch if the store remained open. I always have with no probs, but Boots reps are getting a bit arsy about what they do and don't pay now, since wages became computerised

If you have to stay on premises, then should be paid. If can leave the premises then unpaid. You cannot choose to stay on premises and be paid.
