Apologies in advance if this is a stupid question but...
The activity I am doing has told me to use the Internet and write down the definition given of the term Medicinal Purpose, I have searched and searched in lots of places and cannot find a sensible definition to quote, can anyone give me an idea of where to find one??

I've had a quick google and came across this definition of a medicinal product 'as presented as having properties for treating or preventing
disease'. So my first stab at a defintion would be something about medicinal purpose - being used to describe a product which has some beneficial affect in the treatment of some disease and which has a substance contained within it that has a therapeutic effect or that is a device which has a therapeutic value and which is accepted as falling within any specific relevant legislation as being effective for the purpose that is being claimed.

The rest of the article should also give you some ideas as well. Note it does NOT use the term 'medicinal purpose' so you do need to extrapolate from what is actually said to derive a definition.

Thank you so much , I really appreciate your help, That is what I was also struggling with, how to make it into a definition and not an essay! But now I understand it better and can carry on, thank you again :-) :-)
