    Hi
    I got one question about emergency supply,why patient who is over 60 must have to pay for emergency supply?
    Patient is on holiday for one week,visiting his nephew.

    Emergency supplies are not covered by the NHS. So who should pay for the cost of the medicine?

    Unless you are in Scotland of course. CP(US) available.

    Emergency supplies in the rest of the UK are a private transaction.
    Don't forget to include VAT.
    Its up to you what (ie the pharmacy policy) what to charge.
