Weak acids or bases are those whose ionisation is pH dependent. For weak acids, as the pH increases, dissociation increases. Duodenum would have higher pH than stomach and therefore weak acids (COOH) would dissociate in a more alkali environment.
Either you're pulling my leg or Bath don't seem to make sure their students have an adequate grasp of basic chemistry as this is GCSE chemistry stuff. NH2 group becomes NH3+ in the stomach because of the H+ ions floating about. NH2 + H+ => NH3. See if you can work the other one out.
I will not answer questions like this in the future. It is googleable at the least and you should already have an understanding about acids and bases by now.
