    Exercises for extremly busy lifestyle?

    Hi
I need some help/tips to lose weight. I need diet plan, exercise or best sport equipment (preferably small and not so expensive).

I work everyday on a week, above 60 hours, can't face to go down to the gym, and my bf is complaining that I m putting on weight.

I need to lose about 15 kgs in the next 4 months! Please help anyone!!

Trust this post is not a preliminary to spam advertising weight loss products. If genuine then easiest way is to replace food with a bulking agent such as linseed, oat bran, or even Fybogel. This plus a multivitamin should work. I intend to start a course March 1st.

So Johnep, you just live off porridge for weeks with a multivitamin???

    I find

    Breakfast: porridge
Mid morning : natural fat free yoghurt
Lunch: salad (with tuna or chicken)
Mid afternoon, natural fat free yoghurt
Supper: protein based. chicken, beef, lamb or fish etc etc Maybe some baslmatic rice
evening :more natural fat free yoghurt!!

quite helpful diet plan! :-) Just make sure u have plenty yoghurt in the fridge otherwise you'll end up eating cake and biscuits!

Porridge has some nutritive value, oatmeal bran just provides bulk, may have some slight anti cholesterol effect as well.

The key is to incorporate exercise into your busy lifestyle.

Do you watch TV? Lots of people exercise in front of the TV, especially at gyms. If it puts you off TV then so much the better, IMO.

Do you commute? Walk an extra half mile there and back.

Do you spend a lot of time online? Invest in one of those step machines and use it while you are online.

Incorporate exercise into your social life: golf is the easiest (depending on the weather) but there are innumerable badminton clubs around the place.

If all else fails, dance! Terrific fun. I went to tango and salsa classes for a few years. My wife used to get told off for trying to lead me, which was an unexpected benefit.

I know, I do have an exercise bike. After three minutes find legs ache and pulse up around 108. I intend to persevere and gradually increase time and resistance rate.
Unfortunately, my hip being has meant that my walking has been restricted for many years. I do spend a lot of time in front of the keyboard so please elaborate on the step machine you mention. Is it similar to the exercise cushions advertised for long distance flight?.

exercise will not lead to waste loss. Exercise is a "means" of keeping fit and healthy and a general sense of well being.

Its what you eat that makes you put on or lose weight.

This is a fairly expensive one. Argos used to do one for much, much less.

    Cateye EC-5000 Stair Climber

    Ah: edited as now found:

Cardiovascular exercise is the best way to lose weight, in combination with a good diet. I try and eat well during the week then eat what want on a Saturday. Also limit yourself to drinking two nights a week, they are full of calories. You could try and go for a 30 minute run before work. It will be hard at first but in the long run you will feel the benefit. Dont snack between meals.

I don't like road jogging unless you have good posture and excellent trainers. Pavements are harder than knee-joints.
Walking on grass (aka golf), swimming, crosstraining, much better.
