I have just been delving into summer placements at industries. The IPG group have not updated anything yet, pfizer and gsk only want students who are on sandwich programs for 12 month placements. It is only astra zeneca who want students on a summer placement.
I am rather annoyed as within the previous years there were plenty of chances for jobs.

Well you've missed application for MSD placements (deadline was 30 November.
The specials lab also had applications for summer placements that deadline was 1st december.

What's MSD? never even heard of it and wheres the location, I heard about specials but wasn't interested.

They're based in Hertfordshire so presumably thats where it would have been.

If you want to work in industry, you should know the names and locations. Main ones listed in BNF, everyone listed in front of C&D price list. MSD based in Hoddesdon Herts.

I actually live in cuffley, 5 minutes from hoddesdon, next door we have gsk in ware and harlow
