hi,

im in my third year and we need to have booked our pre-reg places by the end of third year.

so far iv been rejected by all
boots,lloyds,co-op,tesco,asda still waiting on hospital.

am really getting worried now!

Have you tried getting in through clearing on pharmalife for hospitals. Also, have you tried independant pharmacies. Finally, Lloyds and Morisons reopened their application process, dunno if its still open.

There will always be a pre-reg place as people either change their mind or shift the focus onto something else. You could take the initiative and try to persuade some independents to take you on as a pre-reg student.

Why not take this as a chance to move away from your home ? No reason why the pre-reg has to be done in the area you live in.

I'm in the same position. 3rd year student. Rejected by boots, lloyds, rowlands, manor, tesco, sainsbury, many hospitals etc. Applied for every single summer placement I could find on the internet and have been rejected every year. I applied outside of London this year because I thought it would be less competitive, but still no sucess. It's depressing spending so long applying to places and getting nothing, while lots of other people on the course get summer placements every year.
