Come to Cambridge. Addenbrookes is top teaching hospital and lots of secretarial/language colleges to provide girl/boy friends.
Cambridge has great social life, theatres, zillions of bars etc and lovely countryside around, plus London only an hour away by train.
I am going there today.

i heard you dont get paid in england for your placements?
but still am interested in working in a hospital and doing my pre-reg in hospital
Depends which hospital you work at. Usually 4 week placements might be paid for only 2 weeks. 2 week placements or less are probably even more likely to be unpaid.

so do you know any good hospitals in scotland?am really keen on hospital but i cant seem tto get anything done relevant to hospitals.
Sorry don't have much of a clue about scotland. Presumably you have checked the NES site where it has a list of hosps and retail placements that are approved for training (the approved list) ?

Thank you for the advice guys. If there's any other desperate pharmacy student out there who has continually got no placements after applying everywhere. Don't worry, there is hope! After years of rejections and many many hours filling in applications, I've recieved 7 offers for hospital pharmacy placements this summer (Two of which are paid). I still got rejected from all the community placements I applied to though. Maybe it's harder to get community placements than hospital ones? Special thanks for yu5uf for your personal story.
