Help with my competition project...... Thanks

Hi, im currentlly a student in Sheffield Hallam University doing MDes in Product design, currentlly doing a competition project: "propose a designed-led solutions or series of solutions, that would improve patient compliance with their prescribed treatment".

Which ive interpreted to: Come up with a solution to encourage/ remind patients to take their medication!

I would be very grateful if you guys could give me some feedback in what you think are the importance and ideas to encourage patients to take their medication!

Guess there are two approaches.
1. Design a great new MDS package.
2. Design a new MAR sheet for use by patients in home.

MDS are very time consuming in the pharmacy.
My feeling is that a lot of patients with MDS could manage with an interim stage of a well designd MAR sheet.
This would mean that we have a cascade from ordinary labelled medicines, to ordinary labelled medicines plus a MAR sheet to full MDS.

Just my 2 molecules worth anyway.

MAR = Medicines Administration Record
MDS = Monitored Dosage System
