Final year mpharm research project

May I ask what everyone did for their mpharm final year dissipation. Also does doing a pharmaceutics project help industry chances?

What is that ?

What do you mean by industry chances ? Once you pick your project area you would already have (hopefully) your pre-reg sorted. I suppose you could mention in a pre-reg interview that you fancy doing an industrial based final year project + make em happy.

I'm doing mine this year as an audit in a hospital (because I love it so much).

dissertation even lol. I know I am thinking of doing a pharmacy practice based project but I hate lab work but I like industry work that out.

My rec is focus on something small and go really big. Make plenty pictures and graphs and 1st hand research. They love that in academia. Ask authority from uni to direct you.

If interested in industry or hospital go for pharmaceutics or pharmacology project. Mine is how the formulation of ibuprofen patches affects skin permeation. Similar to the industrial placement i did over summer.

where did you do your industry summer placement? I just had a look at 'Industrial Pharmacist Group' on rpsgb but they still have the summer placement vacanies from last year

At medpharm, a lecturers pharmaceutical company. Ask lecturers cause they may have links and go to company websites. Gsk are doing it, pfizer
