Does any one know what programmes a pharmacy can provide ,other than smoking cessations and diabetes monitoring and what are the most recent problems facing community pharmacy.

blood pressure, contraception, cholestrol, anticogulant clinics. Chemotherapy was being pioneered in one area but you would have to search that. An artical in the mail

CIP : Capacity Improvement Program.
The PPD are scanning and analysing scripts for payment.
Problem with the system is that it can only do packs or multiples thereof.
If a script is not a multiple you have to mark it so that it can be processed manually.
In other words - a lot of the burden of sorting out scripts for submission has been put back to the pharmacy.
