    Prospective 2010 students

Hey, this is my first post on the pharmacy forum. I was wondering where other prospective pharmacy students are applying to, just out of curiousity.

    I'm going for:

    Bradford
    Manchester
    Reading
    LJMU
    Aston

well, I did my GCSEs on a part-time basis (long-term illness prevented me from taking any) and ended up with 1A and 7B's (one year, two days a week without revision).

I had a relapse during AS results, meaning I didn't really revise. I managed to get BBCD with the C in chemistry, but that was because I threw up in my exam and got a U :\

    I'm predicted A*AB

As for work experience, I haven't done any yet - I'm just sorting some out with a local branch of pharmacies (Weldricks). Failing that, I'll ask the parents to get me some work experience in an independent pharmacy, based a couple of miles from my house.

    Am applying to

    Keele
    Sunderland
    UCL
    Medway
and not sure if to put the fifth choice down as a none MPharm option ? was thinking of a course they do a York Uni, Chemistry with Bio & Medicinal Chemistry. Sounds pretty interesting ?

Am an Access Student taking Human Biology, with a bit of Bio Science and Psycology. Also taking A level Chemistry, hope to get a C or above at A2.

The Access Course is 45 credits in all, 27 from Human Biology.

It is the only A.C that I can do on the Island, and I am prob the first student on it who is trying to use it for something medical based. Along with A level Chemistry, so it will be interesting to see how it pans out

I only have a few GCSE's that I took again last year Biology, Chemistry & Maths that I got C's in. My results from School, are not really worth talking about, as the highest grade I got there was an E
