    if ciprofloxacin react to sunlight what will be result ?

    That is an extremely specific question and i'm not sure how good the pharmacokinetics and drug stability knowledge is on here ! Are you a pharmacy student ? Best place to start would be the British Pharmacopeia and Martindale.

    Something might be in stockley's too. Does the BNF not say anything?

    I think its just makes you more likely to burn and you should wear higher SPF suncream... but confirm that please!

    BNF recommends avoiding exposure to excessive sunlight when on fluoroquinolones. However most phototoxicity effects are due to topical drugs rather than for systemic use, so the mechanism behind it is beyond my knowledge.
