Re: FAQ Thread:Concerning visa for overseas students, read carefully
At present am having 3 years HSMP tier1 visa approved. By the time my OSPAP Course & pre reg training would finish my visa will also expire. Wil the current changes in visa rules ie removal of community pharmacist from shortage skills job would affect my chances of renewal of my visa under HSMP Tier 1. Would like to have some info about this.
Re: FAQ Thread:Concerning visa for overseas students, read carefully
Hey tell me am i right that now after decision taken by UKBA to remove community pharmacists from shortage list, it means that only hospital pharmacy is to be choose for pre-registration training. And i have heard that salary for hospital pharmacists are low than required for that is 27000 pounds.
So then what after taking pre-registration in hospital, then what???

I think you will have to realise that basically unless you are from the EU, no longer wanted in UK.
Harsh it may be, but in line with Gordon Brown's 'British jobs for British workers'.
However, International students wanted more than ever by unis to fill places caused by lack of funding. This means " come to UK for study, but do not expect to be allowed to stay here to work".
