Im a qualified pharmacist interested in going back to university to do a PhD in some sort of pharmacy/medical related field.
Anyone got any ideas how i find out what PhD opportunities are available? Other than phoning individual universities.

Also look at uni post grad prospectuses which are available online, these usually give more detail about specific opportunities.

New Scientist is also a good place to look!
Good but not brilliant, it usually covers a wider science base though.

Yeah the articles are definitely informative, that reminds me i need to renew my subscriptionthe jobs section is very broadly based, even covering jobs in Europe.

They seem to cycle through what type of job/research/PhD adverts they have. Try the job advert section of their website if you don't wanna buy them weekly.
I was offered research into micelles and cell membranes. Unfortunately, no grant available. Pity, because that work by others led to liquid crystals, fame and possibly fortune.
