They are coming after you! RPSGB last touch before they rot forever

    Dear Students
Just when we all thought the useless, and money demanding society could resolve in peace. they had to ruin it for students before they disappear forever!

    The

Rotten Pie Spreading Gutting Bullshit (
RPSGB) has been working over the past few months to draft a new Student Code of Conduct for undergraduates on MPharm courses. Alongside this, there is a guide for Schools of Pharmacy on how to implement and run Fitness to Practice procedures around this framework.

All MPharm registered students will be required to sign up to the new Code of Conduct from September 2009 and will be accountable against this in terms of their future Fitness to Practice.

It is important that you understand that the ultimate sanction of a Fitness to Practice panel is termination of a student’s MPharm degree course. Alternatively, if a student receives a sanction that does not warrant course termination then the Society will review this information at their point of registration and may refuse that student entry on the pharmaceutical register. So this really affects you!!!!!!

For this reason the RPSGB is keen to hear the views of current students on the draft documents as part of a wider consultation process so that any concerns or misunderstandings are identified before the final documents are approved.

How to respond to the consultation

    By post

    Download the documents
Alternatively telephone 020 7572 2604 or e-mail educationconsultations@rpsgb.org for copies to be sent.
Post the completed questionnaire to Education Consultations, Philippa Strevens, Royal Pharmaceutical Society, 1 Lambeth High Street, London SE1 7JN.

Comments must be received no later than 19 June 2009

Don't go knocking policemen's helmets off then. Unfortunately, a moments indiscretion could be the loss of a career. However, remember 'not inhaling' did not stop Bill from becoming president. MPs, naturally believe in the ruling 'Don't do as we do, do as we say'

I've heard that they will be going back to pre-school play group next.
I would advise all 3 year old boys who are thinking of becoming pharmacists not to pull that little girls hair, the girls not to tell tales, and for them all to think twice before giving back-chat or cheek.

    Download the documents

    Read it with interest....

Suggest Principle 8 should be 'Fully expect to be paid less than a plumber; in addition, before you accept any offer of employment within the profession of pharmacy, you may wish to investigate the attractions of Social Security Benefit, a stress-free means of achieving similar income. This exciting option has been carefully arranged by RPSGB on behalf of our fully paid-up members. If you choose this option, you will be less likely to accrue a criminal record, thus entitling you to global travel without suspicion of criminal intent by the authorities of the countries you visit. You are also far less likely to be convicted of a criminal offence and sent to prison within the confines of the United Kingdom'.

'liberating' half of the contents of the SU bar after friday's happy hour carnage might be enough to flag you up...

not that I ever had to do that. or write an apology letter to the su magazine for being such a light-fingered drunken git, of course

I just had a quick read, it seems very reasonable, more common sense and politeness than hard rule. It must be a reflection on the UK school system if you have to tell students to respect others, follow the rules and make the be of your learning opportunities.

I don't see anything about being drunk there although I guess some things people do while drunk would be in breach of the code. That said I personally never get that drunk unless I am with people I trust to keep me out of trouble.

This is probably a better system also because everybody knows from day one what the rules are instead of finding out after copying some ones essay.
