Rate of Pay for Summer Vacation Schemes

Hey guys,
Need a bit of info please??


1) Which companies offer summer vacation schemes for undergrad pharmacy students?

Co-op - whats their rate of pay for the 6 week scheme? 1st/2nd/3rd year?
London/Kent area or other?

Morrissons?

Any others

Anyone aware of any international schemes?

Also Lloyds, Boots, Rowlands, supermarkets e.g Sainsbury's as well as Morrisons. Tesco do pre-reg and may also do summer placement but not sure.
Pay is variable, between £5.80-6.20. Not likely to get any higher than this. I don't believe there are any specific international schemes for overseas students - will need to apply in same way as home students.

Thats awful - minimum wage plus 0.5!

A medical sec in london with an agency can get £11-13 per hour.

£6.20p/h for 6 weeks - shameful!!!

Then work as a medical secretary. In my day, if you wanted experience you worked in a pharmacy or industry, if you wanted money, then you worked on a building site.

well its human nature to have your cake & eat it. MP's expenses come to mind! & they work for the public sector.
