Element 1.1 Range J is basically you receiving a private prescription, finding out the cost of the drug, + 50% mark up (depending on what your store does) and + 15% VAT and then it equals the final price.

No VAT on private scripts, but is VAT on emergency supplies.

Hi i have just qualified nvq 3 unit one is a big one but its the only one that big so no-one panic once thats done it gets easier i promise! private script pricing you could do an example of a private script include a copy of SOP 'S usually the computer does your pricing but there are calculations for a private script eg 4.00 minimum dispensing fee so we know how to work it out without computer we keep ours in the private book you probably have one in your dipsensary ask another dispenser, also if you wrote about a private script written for say a dentist or vet it will cover many points you could use to cross reference in this unit and others i hope this didnt confuse you more but it hard to write it in an email!!! kind regards Nicki oh and i found that when i was working i would copy a script i was doing and put in draw with a post it note saying what it was so a dentist script written wrong, a nurse script, scripts for different forms eg tabs, caps, liquid and so on it means when you have time to do your coursework you already had evidence to work from xx

Hi I am so glad i'm not alone in this i was thinking about quiting this NPA level 3 year 2 until i found this site i am about a year behind. on unit 1.1 now got until sept 09 to finsh and i feel like my heads going to explode some times
i am getting no help from my employers (even though they are paying 4 it)
But i am going to complete this if its the last thing i do !!!!!

Hello, so annoyed with myself!!! Have til Sep 09 to complete, wish I'd done when I first got it!!!! lol Where did the last year and a half go??? On Unit 1 1.1.!! Nowt like working under pressure.!!!! Its always the knowledge that throws me.!!! X
