I think you need to make that decision for yourself.
which do YOU like best? Ignore league tables etc etc, which did you feel most comfortable at? As this will be the Uni at which you strive to do more and will get more experience. Also take into account how far from home they are? Do you really want to break ties with the family! Also grades , what are you likely to get thus less pressure in exams.
sorry if none of this applies to you and you were simply just asking out of curiousity But if you are deciding for yourself to go to Uni .. let it be your own choice!
I would go to the ones i felt more comfortable at when i went for the visit. I would also think of other factors such as cost of living, the city as a whole, and possible distance if that bothers you.
A name means nothing at the end of the day, its you as a person that gets you the job.
I had similar choices a while ago (*cough*1988*cough*)
London: too expensive
Manchester and Cardiff not on the list then but I'd now say both interesting cities
Nottingham: too impressed with themselves (nearly 20 yeras ago.....)
Bath: where I went and first choice.
But you have to choose. I liked the campus nature of Bath rather than deptartments spread out in a town/city.
