hello,
are pharmacognosy and phytochemistry essential for a pharmacist that will work in hospital?..
in other words, pharmacist who is weak in these courses..will he face problems in his job?
thanks
Only to understand the many drugs derived originally from plant sources, eg Digoxin, Taxol. Also of course those originally from animals, ie Insulin,Heparin, Thyroxine, captopril etc etc. Every drug usually has a fascinating history.
