A good indy is better than any multiple in my experience for both working conditions and renumeration. Expect to have to sort out stuff rather than phoning head office.
The best don't advertise though - they don't need to as their pharmacists rarely leave and if they do a good owner will know where to find the best pharmacists.
Approach the owners direct. Good indys don't use recruitment agencies and pay silly fees.
Unless they operate in areas where there is a shortage of pharmacists.
My problem is that despite my frequently getting enquiries, they come when I don't have a vacancy. When I have a vacancy the enquirers are all fixed up.
