What do you mean? Try looking in the PCT directory and ascertaining the opening hours of the listed pharmacies.

Or are you saying you wish people to tell you of potential sites for 100 hour pharmacies? If so, get off your backside and look for them

Hi guys...sorry for not giving enough detail...basically I already have daytime commitments, so I was wondering if there is an easy way of finding 100 hr stores so that I can do evening shifts...I already have looked at the PCT website but as you know it lists all of the pharmacies and doesn't categorise them to 100 hr and non-100 hr stores...so i was wondering if there was an easier way of just finding just the 100 hr stores in the PCT website or anywhere else...

Thanks alot for ur time for reading the thread all of you........ specially john and Tony

Most likely that 100 hours pharmacies in Supermarkets. independents more difficult and would involve 'phoning each one listed and asking opening hours.
Will only be a few if you exclude Lloyds/Boots and supermarkets. Should only take an afternoon.

Sit down about 7.30pm and start ringing around then. Those that are open at that time are your target.

    NHS choices website
Find health services in your area - NHS Choices

Type in your town/city and use the after 6pm filter then click on the details to see full opening times.

Just read about a threat to 100 hour pharmacies. Sainsburys opened nearby last week. They have a '100' hour pharmacy. However shop hours are 8 -10 Mon-Sat and 10-4 Sun = 90 hours. They applied to open the pharmacy only via a hatch 7am -11pm to make up the hours to comply with PCT requirement. However, reported in press that local council have refused permission on grounds that vulnerable elderly live in area and could be affected by a noise nuisance. I did not know that councils had any jurisdiction over opening hours. Sainsburys have said would have to close the pharmacy with loss of jobs.

easiest way is to email the pct under the freedom of information act and request details of all 100 hr pharmacies in their area. they will be legally obliged to respond. may take a few days but it will work
