Indigestion/heartburn tx
Are they both classed into one as 'dyspepsia' and so have the same tx. Indigestion tx has the use of sodium bicarbonate etc but there is no reference in heart burn tx. I have heard that heartburn is a result of indigestion.
What do most people recommend then?
Alginates and an antacid combination?

Re: Indigestion/heartburn tx
Heart burn is when acid burns the oesophagus. Mucaine was first dedicated treatment, then Gaviscon became market leader. promoted on basis that acid pptn of alginate gel formed protective layer.
