The difference between junior and adult bath additives is the presence of fragrance. What about oilatum cream? I presume there's no fragrance in both. Can anyone tell me?

see also shower gel and ' gel' - same formula but you pay an extra 49p trade for the word shower - damn that expensive ink they use
Yep there are two versions of the gel: 'Oilatum gel' (which is the standard shower gel) and 'Oilatum shower gel fragrance-free'. The standard gel contains fragrance. I believe it's the same stinky smell as Oilatum Emollient. I can't imagine that smell would appeal to many people, certainly not men!
ahh i didn't read the box properly- thanks- so you pay the extra 49p for not having a fragrance ! Great marketing from stiefel - kings of the confusing product portfolio - with multiple pack sizes and dfiffernet names for the same formulations

Standard marketing ploy, fragment the market. Hair colour classic example and get the retailer to stock each variation.

They also do Oilatum Bath Formula, which is the same product as Oilatum Emollient but in different pack sizes..... and Oilatum Junior Bath formula, which is the same as Oilatum Junior Emollient Bath Additive. And then there's the wonderful 1050g tubs of Oilatum cream and Oilatum Junior cream which appear to be designed to force pharmacists to buy in the new pack size instead of giving 2 x 500g. Of course, there are plenty of other pack sizes too. If you're anything like me you just round off the quantity and give what you have in stock. The other options would be to either a) do lots of owings and inconvenience patients or b) stock every possible variety and pack size, thus leaving no room in the dispensary for any other types of cream. Common sense must prevail.
